Drivers Are Reducing Unnecessary Trips Due To Gas Prices

According to a recent survey by autoinsurance.com, 49% of drivers say they’ve reduced the amount and length of trips they’ve taken and 33% have reduced spending in other categories.

Some key findings from the survey include:

  • Just about half of USA drivers are at least “somewhat concerned” about gas prices and 10% are “extremely concerned.”
  • 49% of US drivers say they play to reduce the amount or distance that they drive while 33% plan to reduce spending in other areas. 15% plan to use alternative modes of transportation.
